Mediation is a confidential, practical and extremely effective way to address conflict. It transforms enemies into allies, and assists employees in honing their critical thinking and problem solving skills in ways that enable them to: think outside of the box, find creative solutions to problems, and cultivate greater sensitivity to others. When you consider that unaddressed conflict is one of the largest costs facing business today (costing, through direct and indirect costs, anywhere from $10,000 to $100,000 per employee depending on the severity of the conflict and how easy the employee’s position is to fill), mediation may be one of the most efficient and cost-effective tools available. The mediators at Entente Resources have, as individuals, practiced mediation for at least a decade. They have also created and led successful mediation training programs, and have acted in a mentorship capacity to countless other mediators in the field.
